Paidal’s grown-up formal loafer with a horse-bit buckle and naplak upper. The upper is a goat naplak. Naplak is a more luxurious patent leather with a soft feel and distinctive creases. The lining is a soft LWG sheep skin. The upper and lining are hand-stitched together in sacchetto construction. We think it makes for the most comfortable and breathable formal loafer.
For the first time ever, barefoot philosophy in sacchetto construction. Sacchetto is a traditional shoe construction technique where the upper and lining are hand-stitched together to form a little bag or sack. A sacchetto shoe is soft & flexible and has that “worn-in” feeling from the first wear.
